Arte Hotel (Sofia, Bulgaria)

The 3-star hotel ARTE is situated right at the heart of Sofia, next to the Council of Ministers and opposite the Presidency. The building, where the Hotel is housed, is renovated recently but was originaly constructed around the 1950*s in the typical style of building for its time. The hotel is not only a lodging facility but also a galery at the same time. All the rooms, stairways, corridors and the small stained-glass Restaurant are adorned with bright canvases by some of the biggest names of the Bulgarian painting art. The idea of the valuable paintings is not just to display them as a colorful detail but also to contribute to the aristocratic air of the whole building. The color scheme of the rooms is of gentle pastel tones and daring red in the textile solutions and are in a total match of the classic style Austrian furniture in light-color wood. Each room is equipped with Queen Size bed, desk area, bed-side cupboard, chairs and in the Delux rooms, a sitting area with one table and two chairs. The standard rooms have a back side view and the Delux rooms are positioned to view the main Boulevard. In any case, rooms are very well noise-isolated.
