Location
This comfortable hotel is situated in the northern district of Prague and is around 6 km from the city centre. One of the largest shopping centres in the country lies in the hotel's vicinity. A new metro station, Strížkov, has been constructed in front of the hotel which directly connects to the city centre in 10 minutes and provides guests with convenient access. The airport is around 22 km away.
Facilities
Renovated in 2008, this city and conference hotel comprises 646 air-conditioned rooms over 9 floors including suites, as well as a 500 m² garden. Guests are welcomed in the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange counter, Internet corner and lifts. Furthermore, the Lobby Bar with TV, conference room, Internet access, restaurants, laundry service as well as a car park (for a surcharge) are on offer. Room service and Internet access are both available for an added fee.

The hotel features air-conditioned guestrooms including suites in 2 wings. Furnishings and decor include rose-colored wood furniture, desks, chairs, tables, brass lamps, red carpeting, orange-patterned drapes, coffee/tea making facilities and comforters. Bathrooms provide either a bathtub with handheld showerhead or a shower stall without bathtub. The hotel's triple rooms are doubles with extra bed.
Sports/Entertainment
Guests may make use of the indoor pool, sauna, gym and massage service. Sports enthusiasts are offered water aerobics and billiards, as well as a bowling alley. All activities in the sports centre incur an additional fee. The nearest golf course is around 4 km away. The hotel provides free entrance to the indoor swimming pool for individually travelling guests every morning until 10 am.
Meals
Formanka Restaurant is a folkloric-decor restaurant with beam ceiling and rustic style serving traditional Czech fare for lunch and dinner. Choices include goulash soup, baked pikeperch, roasted duck, baked pork ribs and pork with red cabbage and potato dumplings. Gourmet Restaurant is an informal restaurant with orange walls and ceilings, wood trim and potted plants. It is open daily for complimentary breakfast buffet. There is an à la carte dinner menu, including pizza, pasta, international and Czech specialties. The Beer Garden is an outdoor spot open in summer with picnic tables on the lawn and barbecue grill which specialises in Czech beers and grilled food. The Lobby Bar-bar/lounge serves pizza, beer and cocktails. During the tourist season 4 restaurants are open. In case some of the restaurants are momentarily not in service, then their specialties are offered at the open restaurant(s).

How to get there
From Praha Ruzyne Airport: it is recommended to take the Airport Express Bus which leaves regularly from the terminal for Praha hlavní nádraží (main railway station and metro station). From there continue with the metro to the station Strížkov, located just in front of the hotel. Alternatively, guests can ask the hotel directly to pick them up at the Prague Airport, while taxi service is provided by the hotel as well.

From direction Berlin - Dresden: Continue the highway until You see on Your left side the 10 story high hotel DUO. If you coming from the direction Plzen, Brno and Vienna, follow the sign ?Centrum? (center of Prague), and later look for the signs to Teplice, The next sign will be ?Prosek?. There you will see alredy the building of hotel DUO
