Hotels in Levallois-Perret (France)

On the territory of what is now Levallois-Perret there existed before the French Revolution the village of Villiers and the hamlet of Courcelles (or La Planchette), gave their names to two metro stations in Paris. Some housing started here in 1822 in the northeast of the commune of Neuilly-sur-Seine, in a place soon called Champerret which also gave the name to one of Paris metro station.

Levallois-Perret became an important center of the early French automotive industry. The northern part of the famous Ile de la Jatte in the river Seine where French impressionist painters created many of their masterpieces, is part of the commune of Levallois-Perret. The commune has become a part of Paris so all of Paris attractions can be reached shortly from Levallois-Perret.
