The Royal Saint Germain is a top quality budget hotel boasting a central location, excellent transport links and comfortable accommodation with a good range of amenities. The hotel is located on the left bank of the city, on rue de Rennes, a major shopping street with a large variety of popular French and International chain and boutique shop and is close to Luxembourg Garden and Montparnasse. Prime city sights including the Eifel Tower, the Louvre museum and the Notre Dame cathedral are easily reachable via public transport. The seven storey townhouse style hotel was built in the 1880s and has a shop front on either side of its main entrance. There are no leisure amenities onsite, but the city offers endless entertainment by way of its many tourist attractions including shops, theatre's, landmarks and museums. The hotel serves a continental breakfast, from 7.15am to 10am, in its spacious breakfast room. It does not have a restaurant; however there is an excellent variety of good quality cafe's and restaurants in the immediate area. Standard rooms measure between 10 and 12sqm and face the Rue de Rennes or the hotel's courtyard. Rooms are cosy and elegantly furnished with French vintage style furniture including bedside tables, stool and quaint writing desk. Notable amenities include air conditioning, TV, mini-bar and a hairdryer. Bathrooms include a bath shower and complimentary toiletries. Some of the rooms have a balcony. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. There is a chargeable car park next to the hotel, which offers a discount to guests staying at the hotel.
