relexa Schlosshotel Cecilienhof (Potsdam, Germany)
Cecilienhof was the last castle built by the house of Hohenzollern. It was erected between 1914 and 1917 in accordance with the wishes of the Emperors son Wilhelm von Preussen and Princess Cecilie in the half-timbered style of an English country manor. Cecilienhof attained world recognition as the site chosen for the negotiations of the victorious allies in the summer of 1945. Truman Churchill and Stalin negotiated the Potsdam Agreement right here. The historic conference rooms and private chambers of the royal couple are open for viewing.
