On the ground floor there is an airy, modern coffee shop offering a variety of drinks throughout the day.; This is a seven–storey, modern hotel, typical of those in the area.; The lobby is small to medium in size with some seating offered. Just to the left is the coffee shop, which offers further seating.; Having undergone a complete renovation fairly recently, this family-run hotel offers high standards as well as friendly and professional service in a location close to both sightseeing and shopping areas. This hotel has a great location on Pireos Street, just five minutes’ walk from Omonia Square and 10 minutes from Monastiraki old town and its historical sites, including the Acropolis. Plaka is just beyond Monastiraki, a further five minutes’ walk. The trendy Psiri area is also very close by with its great selection of restaurants and bars. Another newly up and coming area Gazi is also just 10 minutes further down Pireos Street. Many buildings here have been converted to museums for temporary exhibitions - one of the more well known of these is the New Benaki Musuem. From Omonia, it is one metro stop to the metro line that goes directly to the airport. The whole journey takes about 40 minutes. Omonia station also provides access to the port for those connecting with ferries to the islands. Alternatively, a taxi would take 15 minutes. |
