This traditional, luxury hotel is found in a listed building in the centre of the city, just paces from the Danube. There are numerous shopping quarters and important sightseeing attractions, such as the opera house and the Academy of Music, close to the hotel. It takes 30 minutes to reach the international airport.
Facilities:
The former Adria Palace was opened as the Nobel hotel in 2000 and has a total of 218 rooms of which 26 are suites, on 9 floors. Various facilities are available to guests including a vast foyer with glass dome, a 24-hour reception, lifts, safes and a cloakroom. Additional facilities include an elegant atrium café, a newspaper stand, a shop, a hairdresser's salon, a number of conference rooms and a cosy bar with live music. In both of the air-conditioned restaurants, guests are spoilt with the delicious cuisine on offer. In addition, various services are offered include WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services, a bicycle storage facility and parking facilities (some of which incur an additional fee).
Rooms:
The stylish en suite rooms are fitted with a hairdryer, a sitting area, a telephone, satellite/ cable TV, air conditioning, a minibar, a double bed and a safe. The rooms are also decorated with a colour combination of blue and beige. They additional include a desk with fax facilities and Internet access as well as a tea and coffee maker. The deluxe rooms are slightly larger and have a stunning view over Erzsebet Square or the peaceful pedestrianised street, Deak Ferenc. In the corner rooms of the building the executive rooms are located. All the rooms are elegantly and comfortably designed. The windows and the French balcony's have a view over Erzsebet Square of the car-free Deak Ferenc Street.
Sports/Entertainment:
the hotel features a health club on the 8th floor with an indoor swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, a massage room and a gym for fitness enthusiasts. From the hotel there are numerous jogging paths easily accessible. In Polus Golf Club, there are various facilities on offer.
Meals:
Guests are invited to serve themselves from the breakfast buffet. At lunchtime and in the evenings, guests may select dishes from an à la carte menu. It is possible to book a half-board stay.
