Hotel information:
An ancient Villa built by Cardinal Carafa in the 16th century on a Tuscolo hill near Frascati, in a splendid panoramic position only 20 km away from the center of Rome. Impressive halls, boasting Murano chandeliers and working fireplaces, guests will discover works of art by 16th and 17th century artists of the likes of Carracci, Ciampelli and Pannini. The Villa has been restored and redecorated with antique refinement and equipped with all the necessary modern utilities. The rooms and suites, some facing on the historical garden and others overlooking Rome, are divided amongst the Main Villa, the Lodge and the Old Coach House and are connected through a network of underground corridors. The Villa is surrounded by a 1.500 square meter historical garden with an unchanting outdoor swimming pool (open from June to September). The ''Acquaviva Restaurant,'' with its elegant and refined atmosphere, is attached to a magnificent private garden that boasts a spectacular view over Rome. During the summer months, that same garden is transformed into a romantic Outdoor Terrace Restaurant. We pay particular attention to the quality and creativity of our Chef who specializes in Mediterranean cuisine.
