The bedrooms are spacious and luminous, of a good size and tastefully furnished, having authentic furniture of XIXth century style of Biedermeier, paintings and original materials. Each room is different compared to the next, giving each one a unique image. All rooms are classy, filled with Venetian and intercontinental history. They propose nice views of the city roofs.; There is an excellent restaurant, very elegant in decor with mirrors on the walls, titian red carpet and coloured velvet curtains draped from the ceiling. During the fine season a beautiful terrace, overlooking the San Mark's Basin is open to all guests.; It is a majestic four storey white building, with dark green windows and several balconies, a typical Venetian building.; Lobby and reception areas are of a good size and very well furnished, there are marble floors covered with rugs, white polished columns and green and cream velvet covered chairs.; The is a beautiful and charming hotel in a great location. It's only a 4 star category but it surely deserves more. The best 4* in town. Highly recommended. CQ 07/08;
