The Resort is currently undertaking routine maintenance for the refurbishment and upkeep of the Jetty at Pangkor Laut Resort. The work is estimated for completion by the end of July 2011, and will take place between 10am-7pm daily. There will be some noise, and guests will be accommodated as best we can to reduce any impact this may have during their stay at the Resort. There is no impact in areas like Emerald Bay, Spa Village, The Estates and for the greater part of the Resort. Pangkor Laut Resort is on a privately owned island located 3 miles off the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia in the Straits of Malacca, and it is 250km north of the Malaysia capital of Kuala Lumpur. Only a fraction of the islands 300 acres have been developed to house the resort which blends in to its 2 million year old tropical rainforest setting. The island is reached by the resort ferries from the town of Lumut on the mainland. |
