The hotel is located in a prime position on the elegant Sliema seafront promenade, just minutes from the main shopping and entertainment centres of Sliema and St. Julians. The island's capital, Valletta, and the main sights and beaches of Malta are easily accessible from the hotel. There is plenty of nightlife to be found just a 20-minute walk away in St. Julians.

Renovated in 2002, this air-conditioned beach hotel comprises a total of 280 well-furnished bedrooms and suites, a private beach club and numerous other facilities, including an entrance hall with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a cloakroom, lift access, a café, a hairdresser, 3 bars, a TV room, a restaurant, Internet access, a WLAN access point and room and laundry services. The hotel also features the Meridian Conference Room with large panoramic windows, which look out over the sea and provide bright daylight. It is suitable for all kinds of functions. The Meridian Banquet Room and Terrace is a multi-function space, which can accommodate up to 500 for a banquet, reception, dinner dance, wedding reception etc.

Argyll Grill Restaurant and Rotisserie is an à la carte restaurant serving prime steaks and flambés, and a variety of Mediterranean dishes in a richly decorated, ambient setting. The Triton Buffet Dining Room, with its spectacular views, offers varied menus, special themes and an open show kitchen.
