Location
This elegant hotel is located in the Golden Zone, close to an array of shopping and entertainment venues. Malecon is around 5 minutes away and it is some 10 minutes to Mazatlán aquarium whilst the Paseo Olas Atlas is 20 minutes drive from the hotel. Taxi and bus links are to be found outside the hotel.
Facilities
This beachside hotel offers an array of leisure options as well as place to kick back and relax. Ideal for both couples and families of all ages, the hotel comprises a total of 390 suites. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with a reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom, a lift, a TV room, conference facilities and Internet access with a WLAN access point. Moreover, there is a café, a hairdressing salon, a bar, a nightclub, a theatre hall, a children’s playground and a kids’ club to take advantage of. It is possible to dine in a palm-roofed ambience in La Concha restaurant or in La Cascada where authentic Mexican food is served in an old Mexico ambience, with guests serenaded by the natural music of the nearby cascading waterfall. Each of the spacious air-conditioned suites features an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, either 2 pull-out beds or a king-sized bed, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a kitchenette, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, an oven, a microwave, a trouser press and a hire safe. All of the rooms have a balcony or terrace; the rooms on the 4th to 27th floors afford partial sea views.
Sports/Entertainment
In the outdoor complex is a beach-like swimming pool with a children’s paddling area, La Conchita snack bar with terrace and sun loungers and parasols that have been laid out ready for use. There are an array of spa treatments to choose between as well as a Jacuzzi, steam baths, a massage service, a gym and tennis courts to make use of. It is possible to play table tennis, basketball and billiards; a varied entertainment programme provides some amusement for guests both young and old. Various water sports are on offer on the beach including sailing, water skiing, jet skiing and diving. Sun loungers and parasols have also been laid out here.
Meals
Lunch and the evening meal can be taken à la carte whilst dinner may alternatively be chosen from a menu. The poolside snack bar offers appetisers and light lunches with beverages.
