The city, famous for its handicrafts, lies at the junction of several valleys, just a few hours from the Pacific Coast and the State of Chiapas. Oaxaca is a typical colonial city with a pleasant feel about it. You will be amazed at how much there is to do during your stay, like eg exploring several important archeological sites of the Zapotec civilization (Monte Alban and Mitla). |
