For the most unique trip try a helicopter flight to White Island, an active volcano. Huka Lodge is located on the banks of the Waikato River which is the only river flowing out of Lake Taupo and about 500 meters above the famous Huka Falls in the center of the North Island of New Zealand. The hotel is about a 3 hours drive from Auckland or a 1 hour plane or helicopter ride from Auckland. The hotel is about a 1 hour drive from Rotorua. |
