Ngala Private Game Reserve (Kruger National Park, Republic of South Africa)

Situated in Mpumalangas Timbavati Region, Ngala private game reserve is one of the Conservation Corporation Africas flagship properties, combining the ultimate in luxury with exceptional service and an outstanding wildlife experience. The 42-bed lodge has been designed to recreate the elegance of bygone Africa. Each en-suite, air-conditioned chalet has been created for romance, with billowing mosquito nets overhanging antique bed-steads. Guests can relax in the main lodge and dining area, which captures the feeling of long, lazy days from an era gone by, or spend time at the pool, which overlooks a large watering hole. Dinner can be enjoyed in an outdoor lantern-lit courtyard or in a traditional boma. Ngala and its 14,000 hectares of game land is the only private game lodge to be formally incorporated into the world famous Kruger National Park, thus enjoying full national status. Here guests can look forward to twice-daily game drives in open vehicles in an area which boasts one of the highest concentrations of lions and breeding elephants in Southern Africa.
