In summer, Minotel Bruno Kernen's Bahnhof, located directly by the side of one of the nine national bicycle marked paths, allows enthusiastic cyclists to explore this region. You may also combine a simple hike with an excursion rich in information by taking the «meteorological path» on the Wispile, or with a visit to one of the Swiss Alpine Club mountain huts or maybe a refreshing swim in a picturesque mountain lake. Discover the nearby Lake of Lauenen, a nature reserve with waterfalls, glaciers and moors. The village of Lauenen is settled on the lake shore. You will adore its ancient wooden chalets and the fabulous 16th century church.
