Simple, inexpensive and pleasant hotel in the center of Zurich, close to the Limmat river, in the heart of the old town. 5 minutes to walk to the mainstation and 10 minutes to the lake. The tram stop Rudolf-Brun-Brücke is directly in front of the hotel. Reception open from 7:00 am till 10:30 pm.

Surroundings:	The hotel ist located next to the Limmat river, between mainstation and the lake of Zurich. In the surrounding area, there are a lot of different shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, historical buildings, the famous mainstation street, and a car free pedestrian zone along the lake and the Limmat river.

Hotel is located in the city, overlooking the Limmat River. Rooms there are mittelviele I would say (3 or 4 levels were, I think). Hotel is very old and everything is very run down. Particularly the ones that u the furniture in the rooms (if any) look like something out of the war or even older (really). Only the beds are new, our room (probably because the old ones have fallen apart in at least, to take us). Furniture the rooms are in it hardly worth mentioning, except the beds and a primitive cabinet (in which we Sexheft of a Vorbewohner found a have). The bathroom was ugly, we were still happy because the community toilets and bathrooms were still schircher and dilapidated. The hotel can be booked with breakfast. The guest structure is very diverse. We have taken an even Austrians, Italians, Asians, were German too. One (brand new!) There is a lift from the first floor, this floor is the reception. However, you need a lift from the bottom, there is a possible by a key to use the elevator on the ground floor. The elevator was clearly the latest in the hotel. Situation was 1A. Directly at the train station (5 mins walk) and in the inner city, as well as all the best tram, train or bus with. Helpfulness were all really mostly housekeeping at the beginning was good, then bad. Except for the carpet that was the only strangely ALWAYS clean. Were all friendly and helpful, but you have noticed that they get the run-down hotel badly (for example, the receptionist was very nice, but has always looked very sick and finished).	5

this hotel is much cheaper than all hotels in Zurich, and even a hostel! I booked, but did not know what expectable. I was pleasantly surprised that it was very clean, bathrooms are shared, but much better than usual in the hostels. they are very small so if you are in the body, you can pay a higher price per room with private shower.;) Beds are very comfortable, I am for a trip to Europe for the first time sleep. I chatted pleasantly with the administrator, they speak in English at a level to keep the conversation going. no rudeness, no snobbery, really nice guys. coming out of the door directly on the waterfront, super.necessarily go to the Tonhalle, if you are a lover of music in this room you will find the best acoustics which can be imagined! recommend!	5
