Location This is a new boutique style resort hotel located on Samui Island's tranquil northern tip, in the attractive fishing village of Bophut. Chaweng, with its lively bars and entertainment, is about a 20-minute drive away and the local airport can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Facilities The hotel offers 61 tropical Thai-style deluxe rooms and villas. The deluxe rooms are housed in the three-storey main building, whilst the villas are dotted around the tropical gardens, offering either garden or sea views. The hotel provides a safe, as well as car parking facilities and room and laundry services. Guests may also enjoy dining in the restaurant. Rooms The 32 villas and 29 deluxe rooms have been designed in a modern Thai style and feature modern amenities such as an en suite bathroom with separate shower and bathtub and hairdryer. Additionally they each feature satellite TV with movie channels, news and sport channels, DVD/CD player, in-room safe and well stocked minibar. Tea and coffee making facilities, king-size beds and a balcony or terrace all come as standard. Ground floor deluxe rooms feature a garden view, whilst those on the higher floors have a sea view. Sports/Entertainment The resort offers a free-form outdoor swimming pool and a selection of spa facilities including massages, and facial and body treatments for guests’ relaxation. Meals The hotel provides two restaurants. L'ocean beachfront restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. This restaurant provides a superb dining experience in a Mediterranean environment, offering a contemporary selection of local and international dishes throughout the day. The Sala Thai signature restaurant features authentic Thai cuisine for dinner only. The restaurant combines the best classical Thai architecture in a romantic setting enhanced by entertainment from traditional Thai musicians.
