We spent three nights in the Monkbar Hotel recently and while we will probably go back again, there was two areas where the hotel fell down badly. The first was the smell of smoke throughout the reception and public areas. Although most of the guests seemed to be of the non-smoking persuasion, it seems that the management would rather offend
