Southwater Kitchen
Located off the lobby of the hotel Monaco Chicago is Southwater Kitchen, a Neighborhood restaurant featuring contemporary American home cooking and American cocktails. Located on the south bank of the Chicago river, south Water Kitchen is a tribute to the kitchen table, remembering a time when the kitchen was the center of the home and the family meal was the most important meal of the day. Chef Heather Terhune's menu showcases the simplicity of America's yesterday with the flavors and the richness available from today's Midwest farms, lush edible gardens and fresh waters. Additionally, Southwater Kitchen offers a tavern style menu in the bar area for fast, casual meals reminiscent of a Chicago saloon, bringing the comforts of home to the bustling streets of Chicago.
